Maroon Effect

tomorrow, the campus is going with a "maroon effect" everyone is wearing a maroon t-shirt, sweatshirt, etc. around campus to the service...many others are going to wear it around work, home etc. to remember the 32 people who lost their lives today

our jv team has a scheduled conference tournament this weekend at uva, however i do not know if that will still happen, we have 5 teammates unaccounted for...but if we do go, we are in the process of making t-shirts with either the names of the deceased or names and pictures that we'll wear under our jerseys

please don't start placing blame on the police dept., pres. steger, or anyone else...the blame lies solely with the gunman...all the rest of us are just bystanders doin our best to get by in a state of shock

i have appreciated the messages and emails and i promise when i get the time ill sit down and write back to all of them but at this time im still trying to find people and take my mind off the situation...again thanks for the thoughts and prayers

Good luck man, in times like this people should join together instead of trying to place blame. I'm sure VT will rise from this, I applaud you all for the courage you have shown. Especially to those staying up there, not allowing their way of life to change.
